Signing of a PDF document with existing metadata such as keywords should result in the signed PDF preserving the metadata.

Additional Context

I'm using PDF metadata fields (specifically the keywords field) to hold information about the document. If I sign a PDF document with the keywords field populated, then the signed document comes back with the metadata blank.
