Power draw not changing

When i measured the power draw using a digital multimeter it continues to draw 30-40mA even when it supposedly is in sleep mode. What is is the expected power draw in sleep mode for the Arduino 101?

I have the same observation as naveenrajamaran. The power draw doesn't seem to change in any of the power states. awake, doze, sleep or deep sleep. They all seem to consume the same amount of power, but the device stops operating normalling on dozing/sleeping/deep-sleeping.

@vijayrao1988 The easiest solution is to drop the curie if you are serious about it from a commercial perspective. This is despite us having direct access to the intel development team. The only solution they gave us is to use the intel recommended toolchain and move away from Arduino. when running on their recommended firmware it apparently has proper working sleep modes. Anyway intel themselves killed their IoT devices. Cant expect any support and the community is next to non existent for this board as well.

Thanks for the reply and yes, you are right. I gave up on the Intel Curie a few months back myself too. Presently, I was trying to fix a quick solution for a BLE device demo which involves a few common functions. The arduino seemed the easiest way to go. But I am giving up on the low power mode for now. Restricting myself to the basic functionality for now (for this demo) and have already dropped the Curie from all current and future projects.
