I have made minor editorial changes (wording). I have also emphasized the impact the determination of t_0 has on particle ID. The main change is where Rayleigh scattering in LAr is described: I introduced a more realistic Rayleigh scattering length (the original text quotes 95cm which is a theoretical estimate contradicted by the only experimental result available so far and also in conflict with a more recent estimation which I have announced to the PD group) The shorter Rayleigh scattering length impacts on the absorption length so I removed the greater than 200 cm and left of the order of 200 cm (see Criag Thorn docdb 6302-v2).
